Anthropic has released Opus 4.7—the strongest publicly available Claude model so far. There’s an even more powerful one, Mythos, but it’s kept for internal use only.

Opus 4.7 also comes with a new tokenizer—handling the same content now uses about 35% more tokens than the previous version.
